"It has often been said that joining a major beauty pageant is like applying for a job in front of a million people, and it is truly a job, because along with the prizes comes the responsibility.

A year had passed since I last stood on this stage and crowned as Miss Grandview 2008, lots of things happened after the coronation night. I don’t know how to explain them but they were really something.

Life is indeed full of surprises, but being Miss Grandview taught me what humility is all about. Now I know, by just being who you are and being fearless to face any obstacle in life, Life is worth living for.

During my reign, I met different people, with different individual characteristics and learn to accept and respect their individualities. I also learned the importance of caring for the environment just like what Grandview aims to do, for it is the only gift that we can give to the next generation.

At this moment, I would like to share this honor to the people who have been instrument for me to be where I am right now. First and foremost to my family who supports me and serves as my inspiration. To my makeup artist, designer, my manager, my second mother who made me become a real woman, Rhovert Clemen, you’re the best! To Philippine Land Group Inc. and all its staff, Thank you for this wonderful opportunity and thanks for being there, I love you all! To Mr. Maurice Van M and Mr. Arnel Torres and their families, a big thanks for the experience, for the learning, and for the honor of being part of your company. Last but not the least, thanks thee to god who’s showering me with wonderful blessings, I offer all of this to you.

To my successor, please wear the crown with much humility and sense of responsibility because from this moment on you will be the ambassadress of Grandview’s aims and visions. Good luck to you and may you fulfill the duties that you ought to face.

My journey has just begun, there’s more to do, more to accomplish and more to come.

Thank you very much and may you all have a wonderful evening.

See you later!"

What are the disavantages of a Tax Declared vs. Totled Property? PDF Print E-mail
Tax Declarations are proof of possession, but they are not deemed as desirable or 100% secure as a Titled property. That's because there exists the possibility of disputes of property boundaries and ownership with tax declarations, especially if the property is not held by a single owner, but by the “Heirs”. Because of this we extensively research our Tax Declared properties to ensure they are free of problems. It would be counter-productive for us to sell properties that later have troubles when the sale is taking place.

In general it is easier to commercially develop Titled properties than Tax Declared, but there is very little difference involved and not having title is no prohibition on development. It is simply that a bit more process must be completed to commercially develop a Tax Declared property. However, in the instance of the property being used to locate a residence there is virtually no difference between the two.
